About our church
The Camden Seventh-day Adventist Church was started in the back room of a health food store in 2002. What began as a small group Bible study has grown into a full-size church. We purchased our current building in September of 2007 and meet every Saturday morning for worship service and Wednesday evening for prayer meeting. Our church consists of people from all walks of life with diverse cultures and backgrounds united in seeking for and hastening our Lord's soon return.
Our mission is to minister to the people in our surrounding community, communicate the everlasting gospel in the context of the three angels' messages of Revelation 14:6-12, lead them to accept Jesus as personal Savior and unite with His remnant Church, disciple them to serve Him as Lord and prepare them for His soon return.
About Seventh-day ADventists
The Camden Seventh-day Adventist Church is a local congregation which is a part of a worldwide movement.
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura—the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.
Currently, Adventists hold 28 fundamental beliefs that can be organized into six categories—the doctrines of God, man, salvation, the church, the Christian life and last day events. In each teaching, God is the architect, who in wisdom, grace and infinite love, is restoring a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.
